General contraindications

All diseases in the acute stage of chronic disease are in the stage of exacerbation and complicated by the acute purulent process.

All venereal diseases in acute and contagious form.
All blood diseases in the acute stage and the stage of exacerbation.
Cachexia of any origin.
Malignant neoplasms. (Patients after radical treatment for malignant neoplasms (surgical, radiant energy, chemotherapeutic complex) with a generally satisfactory condition, absence of metastasis, normal peripheral blood parameters can only be sent to local sanatoriums for general restorative treatment).
All diseases and conditions requiring inpatient treatment, including surgical intervention, all diseases in which patients are not capable of independent movement and self-care, need special bed care (except for persons subject to treatment in specialized sanatoriums for special patients).
Echinococcus of any localization.
Frequent or profuse bleeding.
Pregnancy at all times to balneological and mud resorts, and to climatic resorts, starting from the 26th week.
In addition, during all periods of pregnancy, pregnant women should not be sent to resorts and sanatoriums:
- for balneo-mud treatment for gynecological diseases
- for the treatment of extragenital diseases with radon baths
- residents of the plains to mountain resorts located at an altitude of more than 1000 m above sea level.
All forms of tuberculosis are in the active stage for any resorts and sanatoriums of a non-tuberculosis profile.
